Dr. Eftekhari
Dr. Eftekhari is a member of the American Dental Association. He has also received the Certificate of "You Make The Difference" from the Los Angeles Dental Society, USC School of Dentistry, Latin American Dental Association, Iranian Dental Association and Los Angeles Unified School District. He has extensive experience in dentistry and has been providing excellent dental treatment to thousands of patients since the last 12 years. He is well renowned amongst kids for his gentle and caring manner.
His Education
*Dr. Eftekhari was awarded with the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery from Marquette University, Milwakee, Wisconsin in May 1992.
*Dr. Eftekhari obtained his degree in Bachelor of Science in Biology from California State University, Northridge in May 1998.
*He obtained his degree of Bachelor of Science in Health Science, option Environmental and occupational Health in May 1998 from California State University, Northridge.
State Boards
*State of California Dental Board License achieved in April 11, 1993. State of California Dental Board, Oral Conscious Sedation Certificate achieved in January 21, 2003.
Dr. Arianna G. MartinezDr. Martinez is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Orange County Dental Society. She graduated with honors from the University of La Salle, where she was awarded with the degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery.
Dr. Martinez enjoys working with children of all ages. She explains dental procedures to her little patients in simplified terminology, this helps reduce fear, anxiety, and stress, during their dental visit. During treatment being gentle and safe is of utmost priority. Her goal is to make the children’s visit to the dentist the best experience possible and is happy to listen and respond to their concerns.
Deaf and Hard of Hearing Project
It is a well known fact that communication between healthcare providers and patients is essential for the best treatment and outcome for any procedure. Growing up with a deaf brother, Dr. Martinez witnessed how the lack of communication between healthcare providers and patients turned into insecurity and dissatisfaction. Today, having received her degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of La Salle, she strives to make a difference by providing dental services to a community that has been widely underserved by also offering her knowledge in Spanish, and American Sign Language, in conjunction with quality children's dentistry. By eliminating the need for a third party interpreter, the doctor-patient experience is what it should be for any individual: personal. Consultation or treatment should no be focused on whether the interpretation is accurate, whether the doctor understood the patient's concern, or vice versa, but instead, the true objective: one's health.
